Hello Peeps,
It's Wed night after watching Ghost Hunters on TV , of course with closed captioned. It's starting to get cold and cold out in the mountains .... It snowed this morning .. merely a dusting or a coating so close to halloween night.
Next week will be my second year in North adams where I reside . Alot of memories here and back to Virginia . all the summers traveling and back .. I remember growing up and saying " it's time to head up north to see grandpa and grandma . I love going to Vermont , the sighting , the green pastures ... middle of the country with no houses in sight . Now it's close to winter .. too many memories in winter time before xmas . I did something wicked today that made me shudder with stupidty that almost got me hurt today. You probably will be laughing or saying " oh gosh , that 's a stupidty thing to do !" Trust me .. I almost got hit with the pumpkin .. I decided to do a test on it . I don't mean evil things but That was when i was little girl with my sister, Tamara . My dad would put small firework inside the pumpkin and decided to put it on the middle of the yard and watch it go "BOOM " with the firework inside . It was hyserically funny . I asked my friend if she had some kind of explosive small .. She was rumming around in the kitchen to look for it , suddendly it dawned on her ... Candle and cherry bomb ? i don't know what it was .. little red ball . So I told her to head over to my apartment .
I carved the seeds out and made sure it was empty and smoothed, then I procced to put the little red ball inside and ignited it and ran like hell out on a open field near her apartment . It went off like I expected to .. every direction it went .. "Plahat " and a "small Boom" . For us , deaf people are always curious . I was standing not 5 feet away from the pumpkin . My curiousty got the best of me , and it hit my leg .. HARD . I had to limp my way home up the hill to my apartment . I took my pants off and look at my leg , it was red with bruise . Hurt like a biytch but I laughed so hard . I know i would have got hurt , but my memories got the best of me . ARGH ! but it was SWEET!
I always wanted to try airborn the pumpkin in the air like the old times in the 1500's when they were fighting in the battle . I wanted to try that .. maybe next year I will... If i have the GUTS to do so . My girlfriend asked me tonight if I was ok on Videophone and I showed her the leg , she looked at me square at the eye and said " are you that F88king stupid or what? I ain't bringing your ass to the ER if that happened " I just loved her expression on her face. Videophone is the next fad thing for the deaf where there is a device attached with video on it .. Whoever has the vp (videophone ) has it , we talk on TV . I 'll show you what that is .. Im still learning how to put the picture layout .. That is the VP on TV how cool isn't that ! no more TTY for the deaf , Say hello to VP . I always take a pic of my friend on tv and it's so funny to watch their face on it. They get mad at me for that They say "You have more guts than I do , you don't care what's happening in front of you " I tell them that I was like that in High school .. Full of naive .. D- link is a device for hearing people who want to call their friends straight up to talk to me . It'll cost them but deaf people get it for free . I'm so sorry . I talk on vp every night when my friends call me . It's like having answering machine .. a missed call will show up on my screen saying " missed call 1 or 2 " I would press it like a remote control device . Then I call that person back like you do on your cell or cordless phone .
